Terms of Service

Last updated 11 June 2026. By using sarmalink you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

sarmalink is a hosted chat workspace operated by Sarma Linux (the “Operator”, “we”, “us”) and offered to individual users (“you”). You bring your own free-tier provider API keys; we route your requests to the providers you select.

2. Your keys, your responsibility

Provider API keys remain your property. You are responsible for keeping your passphrase safe. We never see your passphrase and we cannot recover it for you. If you lose your passphrase, your encrypted data becomes unrecoverable and you will need to re-create the vault.

3. Acceptable use

You will not use sarmalink to generate or distribute unlawful content, to attempt to bypass provider rate limits or terms of service, to harass other users, or to probe or attack the service or its underlying infrastructure.

4. Beta service

sarmalink is provided as a beta service. Features may change, outages may occur, and data may be migrated between schemas. We will give reasonable notice for breaking changes that affect data you have stored.

5. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical. On termination, your account, encrypted keys, and conversation history are deleted.

6. Disclaimer

sarmalink is provided “as is”. We make no warranties about uptime, accuracy of provider responses, or fitness for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months (zero during the beta).

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be heard in the courts of England and Wales.
